FORMS FOR CHURCH CONFERENCES

Three documents: Pastoral Consultation Schedule; S/PPRC Consultation Schedule; Church Conference Schedule.

The forms are significantly different than in years past and will require prayerful reflection.

The district superintendent will meet in various clusters for consultations and conduct Church Conferences in mostly Compass Groups.

The Pastoral Consultations - Notice the time and location of each meeting (a list was mailed to each pastor) and please have your forms completed a week prior to the consultation and sent to the district via email or regular mail. Please make every effort to keep this appointment. If you cannot do so, you are permitted to switch appointments with another pastor. Please note that it is your responsibility to notify the district office of any changes that you make; the switch is only complete when you have done so.

The S/PPRC Consultations are also being held in various locations and, unless it is an extreme emergency, the schedule needs to remain as it is. The schedule was mailed to each pastor. If a change is needed, please call Dan Bryant as soon as possible. Your leadership role will be critical as you lead the S/PPRC through the CFC form and the new process we are using for the next few years. The SPRC forms need to be in before the consult time (CFC, Compensation, LCPA).

Church Conferences will be done differently this fall. We will be having Church Conference in Compass Group settings, in most circumstances, and the Compass Group leader will work with the other pastors in designing a worshipful experience. The schedule of church conference was mailed to each pastor. The Church Conference forms (Omnibus) need to be in prior to the church conference date.
